Welcome to the John Tallack Centre!

Our Charity

The John Tallack Centre first opened in 1988 and, with the help of local GP Dr. John Tallack, was built by the community as a space for Cullompton's young people.

The centre is now owned and managed by the ‘Cullompton John Tallack Youth and Community Centre Trust’ (CIC Number: 1164465), who took on management of the building in 2015 following the closure of Devon Youth Service.

Together, our small team of trustees and volunteers continue to maintain the centre for the benefit of everyone in Cullompton and surrounding areas. The building is available to hire for clubs, organisations, and private events, and is currently home to Action for Children, Cullompton Youth Club, Activ8 theatre, Bel Canto Choir, Moo Music, and more... We are also available for one-off bookings, for community events, or for private hire.

Our Trustees and Volunteers:

George Munn (Chair of Trustees, Trustee)

Judy Morris (Secretary, Trustee)

Sue Robinson (Treasurer, Trustee)

Ray Ursell (Volunteer, IT Support, Assistant Treasurer)

We are always looking to welcome new volunteers and/or trustees to our team. Anyone who feels they have something to contribute would be greatly appreciated and warmly welcomed! For an informal chat about getting involved in a way that works for you, contact
