Our Building

Our recently refurbished building boasts a spacious Main Hall, a modern and fully kitted Kitchen, comfortable offices, a cosy Lounge area, and a fully kitted-out Sound Room. We have accessible toilets and baby change facilities, ample parking outside, and there is free guest WIFI throughout the building.

The JTC is perfect for anyone looking to host a club, group, or event. We are large enough to accommodate up to 60 people, but our rooms still have a warm, cosy feel. 

So far we have hosted various clubs, community meetings, training courses, children's groups, martial arts classes, craft groups, conferences, coffee mornings, table-top sales, birthday parties and family celebrations, but we are always open to new suggestions...!

Our Main Hall space is versatile and spacious in its own right, but hires are also welcome to make use of our overhead projector, speakers, PA system, tables and chairs, games tables, and other equipment. 

The Kitchen is fully kitted out with 2 ovens, 2 hobs, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, and 2 sinks. The space works really well as an open kitchen, with the two idependent workstations being perfect for training/team cooking, or the door can be closed to serve food over the counter. Crockery, cutlery, and utensils are all provided, and hirers are also invited to make use of our dishwasher and washing machine.

Our Lounge area is warm and cosy, perfect for informal meetings, small group sessions, coffees, or family events. Sofas, blankets, tables, and stereo are provided, conveniently huddled right next to the Kitchen hatch.

Our bespoke Sound Room was originally built to accommodate youth club bands, recording, and DJ nights, and is kitted out with mixer, speakers, and microphones. The booth is fully sound proofed, with a desk for decks and equipment, and an open/close window that faces out into the main hall.
